I started off with 2 CC’s (Covered Calls) on SOXL @$20.5 strike and expiration of Aug 5th and collected $56 in premiums, A few weeks back I had been assigned 200 shares at a cost basis of $20.50 and have been writing CC’s ever since. To date I have collected $307 in premiums on SOXL.
Also wrote a CSP (Cash Secured Put) on TQQQ @25 strike and expiration of Aug 5th and collected $70 in premium. As the share price appreciated during the week, I closed out this trade on Friday for $5 locking in $65 in profits. I was assigned 100 shares on 7/1 @ $25.90 and have been writing $30 calls on this position along with Puts at a lower strike price. TQQQ finished the week @33.36 well above my $30 strike but it closes my position and allows me to begin the process all over again next week.
Finished the month of July collecting $1021 in premiums.
